Don't be fooled by the other reviews, this place has good food. If you are looking for fine dinning this is not the place, but if your looking for good fresh food, this is it. I stay at the attached hotel for my work several times a year and have always eaten here. I have had burger, chilli, chicken sandwich, fish fry, and sirloin steak...all very good. Prices are very resonable and the service is friendly. I was not expecting this place to be good, but dont let the looks fool you, it's good. Good drink specials in the bar, and my favorite...freshly made pies that are made there...apple pie a la mode!

Blah.......... Crap in our water glasses. I admit that this part is subjective but the not spicy BBQ sauce was hot. Meat was good. Our water glasses said Longbranch on them which is in Marion, Iowa. Hmmmmm. Will probably go there again only to collect food and water in a disaster situation.

The restaurant is connected to the Best Western Hotel. After working out, I walked over to the hotel and got a Cobb Salad to go. (I uploaded a pic of it). I ordered and sat down to wait. Since I ordered a drink to go, the very nice waiter brought me a glass of the pop I ordered to drink while I was away. Little things like this is what makes me want to go back. He was very nice. The Cobb Salad was surprisingly big for $9 and really tasty. The avocados, chicken, eggs, etc., all tasted really fresh. It is a nice little diner connected to the hotel and I will definitely be going back someday to try their breakfast.

Sigh. This place takes'greasy spoon' literally. Everything I've had here is slippery with grease. Makes Denny's and Perkins seem like gourmet food. Move along!

We recently had lunch during Restaurant Week CR. It seems that this is a popular restaurants for large groups of retired to gather. It was very busy with the waitresses, hostesses and bussers working hard to serve everyone. We had good service with a reasonable wait before our food arrived. We both had the beef and bacon burger with your average fires. It was juicy and cooked well. The decor could use a remodel. Overall my impression was meh. I won't be hurrying to go back.
